About Us
Leanna Good, the owner and operator of Goods’ Garden Cat Resort is a trained veterinary technician with more than 20 years of experience in the animal care field.Her husband David graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. David is a full time associate at the Cavan Hills Veterinary Services in Cavan.
They share their home with 7 cats, Kiri, Sheeba, Skittles, Kermit, G-Baby, Mickey, Stewart as well as their dog Amicus.
Together, with their background and training Leanna and David are able to offer all guests, the best available care and comfort during their stay at the resort.
We are able to take care of special needs guests, administer medications or care for convalescing cats that are doing well and do not require constant supervision.
We have expanded and constructed a brand new facility to further care for your feline family members.
Accomodations
Available Suites:
All accommodations at the resort have been built to be modular. This allows us the flexibility to expand the space to meet the needs of our guests.The basic enclosure is 4x3 foot and 30 inches deep and was designed to meet the needs of our older or special needs cats who has limited mobility.
Each enclosure has a hiding perch, an upper level walkway, 2 corner perches in opposite corners and on different levels as well as a secluded toilet area.
Also, each basic module has 2 portal locations. These portals, when opened enable the basic accommodation to be expanded in one or multiple directions. This portal system helps to expand suites into a townhouse for two or a triplex for three while still providing each cat with his own secluded litter area.

"We have just moved to the area so this was Sammy's first visit to Leanna's resort and what a resort this is!
Sammy is a high anxiety 13 yr. old cat whom we rescued as a Ferrell Kitten. He has previously been to a few other Cat Boarding locations and this is the first time we have taken him home calm, relaxed, and happy.... even in the 40 minute car ride. It's usually 3 days of panting, vomiting and sad meows before he would calm down and with this first visit we experienced none of this... just a very calm happy cat.
